X
This test checks if an organisation has an X account.
Why do we test for this?
The amount of activity about a website on X, and other forms of social media, is a major factor in how well a website is marketed.
How do we test for this?
While testing the website, we scan all pages for links to X. For each of the X accounts we find, we find out the number of x's that have been made and the number of followers it has.
In order to determine if any of the X accounts that have been found are related to the website, we check the X account's details to see if the website being tested is listed.
What can I do about it?
Create a company X account for your website and make regular x's. If you already have an X account, but we are unable to detect it:
- Make sure you link to the account from your website
- Make sure that your website address is listed under the information section of the X account.
Score calculation
100%
This business has an X account with over 2000 x's and 2000 followers.
40-100%
This business has an X account with under 2000 x's and / or under 2000 followers
40%
This business has an X account with no followers or x's.
0%
This business does not have an X account.
This analysis is scored on a curve - a small increase in x's / followers has a greater impact on a low scoring business.
